He began his career as the quarterbacks coach in 2007 until adding offensive coordinator to his responsibilities in 2014. Drach coached the Liberty League Offensive Player of the Year in 2007, 2014, 2016 and 2017 and the ECAC Offensive Player of the Year in 2007 and 2016. He also coached seven All-League quarterbacks and a Bill Middleton Memorial Football Award Winner.

A native of St. Charles, IL, Drach earned his bachelor's degree in business finance and economics from Western Michigan University in 2004. A three-year starter, he enjoyed his finest year as a senior, completing a single season record 67 percent of his passes for 1,499 yards and 13 TDs. Mark Ross (Penn State) is in his seventh season as head football coach at Misericordia University. Ross was hired as the first coach in the history of the program in February, 2011. He has guided the Cougars to a victory in each of the last five seasons.

Previously, Ross spent 10 seasons as an assistant coach at Ithaca College and has also coached at East Stroudsburg University. At Ithaca, he served as the Bombers' defensive coordinator and linebackers coach and previously coached linebackers, defensive line and place-kickers. Ross spent four seasons as an assistant coach at East Stroudsburg, where he earned a master's in sport management. THE SERIES This will be the 7th meeting between the schools as Wilkes leads the series 4-2. The Cougars won last year's game 43-14 in Dallas, Pa.

Sophomore (Edison, NJ/Edison Twp.) caught a career-high nine passes for 90 yards last week against Delaware Valley and now ranks fourth in the conference with 16 receptions and 175 yards. Junior (Pompton Plains, NJ/Pequannock) also caught a career-high six passes for 60 yards and added his second touchdown of the season to pull Wilkes into a second quarter tie with DelVal. Freshman (Laurys Station, PA/Parkland) continued his steady play at wide receiver with his third straight game with two catches to begin his career. He totaled a career-best 28 yards against DelVal. Sophomore (Telford, PA/Souderton) carried the ball a career-high eight times for 19 yards last week. Freshman running back (Wanaque, NJ/Lakeland Regional) scored his first career touchdown with a one-yard run in week two against LVC. SCOUTING THE WILKES DEFENSE (4-2-5) - Wilkes is fourth in scoring defense (25.3), third in total defense (355.7), sixth in rush-ing defense (177.3), and fourth in passing defense (158.3).

SCOUTING THE WILKES SPECIAL TEAMS - The Colonels rank first in the conference in kickoff return average at 26.2 yards-per-attempt. Freshman (Montoursville, PA/Montoursville Area ) returned three times for 49 yards against DelVal last Saturday. Fink had a 70 yarder against Hartwick to open the season and senior (Westminster, MD/Delone Catholic) returned a first quarter kickoff 59 yards against LVC in week two.
